If it's not natural to judge someone based on their group, then why be concerned about that group's reputation?

If we're not supposed to judge someone based off of what group they are in, but the kind of person they are, then of what importance is a reputation? Why does the concept of "reputation" even exist?|||It is perfectly natural to judge people on their group, we humans generalize everything, if we could not generalize, we could not drive or turn doorknobs......Generalizations are useful and humorous....."All asians are good at math" ..................All Blacks are good Dancers..............Mexicans Steal.........White people cant jump.....SEE, its fun.|||Reputation can exist on an individual level too.

Anyways...let's say it is "unnatural". That doesn't mean people don't do it. A lot of the time, people will automatically assume that someone belongs to this "group". People don't want to be apart of the "group" but people will assume they want to be. They end up worrying about the group because in the long run, if the group does something bad, then they look bad. Of course, they only worry about the group because people insist on generalizing in the first place.

Ok, well I worded that kind of badly. Hope you find the answer you're looking for.|||I am born in Poland, and here people also cannot stand in queue after me.

sometimes they ask when I buy

"is there a butter?"

or they just simply buy something when i go out to take something from a shelf.|||It makes sense to judge someone based on a group if they choose to be in it.

Also the concept of reputation applies to individuals as well (not just groups).
