Any problem with using wood chips from cut trees for playscape base?

I am referring not to purchased mulch, but from downed trees run through a commercial shredder onsite. I want to take down a group of trees, put down a base and build a playscape on the same spot. Can I just have the tree guy leave all the shreddings to use for the playscape area? Any problems with this?|||If you go with the wood chips from a tre shredder, you will find that alot of the pieces are too big for the purpose you want. In fact most playgrounds done with tree chippings are run through a machine to round off the ends of the pieces and remove most of the danger from getting splinters in the hands and feet of the young kids. The best way to go is with a product called Fi-bar. I have ben in landscaping for 30 years now and highly reccomend it to you.

Rosco|||Should be fine for a private play yard. These do not comply with codes for accessibility. Also, some could be sharp/splintery and the moisture may facilitate mold and keep them densely packed so they are less resiliant.|||SPLINTERS, SPLINTERS, SPLINTERS. Bad for kids to play on.
