How do I unsubscribe from a Yahoo group?

I can't work out how to do this, think it's because the group is based in the US|||1.


Step 1





Go to www.yahoo.com. Click on the link to the left of the page titled "Groups."

Sign into Yahoo! with your user name and password.

Select your group page by doing a search for your group when prompted. Or you can simply click on the link titled "Visit Your Group" provided on any email you have received from the group, if you are signed up to receive emails when a member posts. This will take you directly to the group page.

Click on the "Edit Membership" link at the top of the page when you are on the group page.

Click "Leave Group" at the bottom right of the page that comes up after clicking "Edit Membership." After you click this link you will no longer receive email messages when someone posts on the page, you will no longer be listed as a member of this group and the group will no longer be on the list on your My Groups page.


Unsubscribe by Email

Step 1





Type groupname-unsubscribe@yahoogroups.com in the "To:" section on a new email message.

Step 2





Replace the word "groupname" on this email address with the actual name of the Yahoo! group you wish to unsubscribe to.

Send a blank email to this address.|||those who joined a group via e-mail subscribe or were added members can only leave by the unsubscribe e-mail, but leaving a group via the unsubscibe e-mail is faulty, if that's the only way you can leave, you will need the help form

go to group home page and click edit membership top middle of page- bottom right click Leave Group- next page confirm and click Leave

go to this link http://groups.yahoo.com/mygroups click edit my groups on the top left- locate group (if there's more than one) under the last column check the small box - click save changes|||Go to the group's site, click edit membership along the top. In the next window scroll down and check leave group Click save changes and you should be out. It may take a day to take effect.





Sending an email usually doesnt work.
