With the anticipated losses that the GOP may face this Election, they most likely will need to reinvent themselves... Which part of GOP base will become the new core-
- Wall Street Republicans
- Wal-Mart Republicans
- Social Conservatives |||Well the only way for the GOP to reinvent itself is to shed the image of being the party of the wealthy and not America. I don't see that happening for a lot longer than four years. In the last eight the GOP spent a surplus into a record hole. Cut the taxes of the wealthy promising jobs and we had two recessions. Conservatives cut basic services to millions of Americans and caused grief and pain in the families of millions. Failed to win a war against a few thousand Arab guerrillas with the mightiest military on earth. Depleted that military until it seriously needs new weapon systems, rebuilding of old and more man power. It is going to take years to rebuild the damage to our international image and it is going to take years before the domestic image of the GOP will recover from this fiasco. As a side light the GOP tactics in the last two national elections have revolted millions. This third time they have hit a record low in mud slinging. It is going to take a lot to recover from that as well.|||none of the above....they need to completely revamp.... Their best supports now are the young posers that see the republican party as being elite, or for the rich.... they are trying to play a role that they think is cool....that is....until they really start thinking....|||'Hannity's America's Americans'.
That part of the US where people live under flat rocks, and have FOX blaring 24/7.
Thank God it's shrinking fast.|||How about the "Real Americans" from Palins' "Real America" ?
That had to be one of the greatest insults ever.|||Wal Mart Republicans.|||I think it has to distance itself from the religous right, or they are in for a long cold century.|||The last of the Baby Boomers, once they're gone BYE BYE Reps LOL
