What happens when a group soldiers gets back to a base from deployment?

like what's the first thing that happens when they arrive....is there anything they have to do first before they are allowed to leave base or go to their families?|||you'll go turn in your weapons to the arms room, get a safety brief, and then you're released for however long. 4 day weekends usually.|||Yes there are a bunch of things they do when they get home. post deployment physical, mental health, turn in equipment, inservices on Traumatic brain injury, suicide prevention, travel voucher, safety briefing, Tricare briefing|||they have to pet some cats first
