Are Republicans capable of donating their money to any 'charity' group that doesn't grow their political base?

The One thing you have to realize here. The government is the biggest employer in the country. YET they pay their employees 75,000 dollars to the 35,000 dollars that private business do. BUT then you have to realize that THOSE that are NOT IN GOVERNMENT BUSINESSEs ARE PAYING THE WAGES OF THOSE IN THOSE GOVERNMENT JOBS! Who is greedy demanding more money and more unions and more benefits etc.

We also support several charities like Ronald McDonald House, who don't carry a political affiliation.|||How would sending Bibles to Africa grow the Republican political base?

AS to how people give to charity.....that is their business....it is their money and not yours or mine (although I certainly do not agree that is all Republicans who give to charity do).|||And those missionaries generally bring food and clothing with them. This is one of the most idiotic questions I've seen asked on here. My Church collects food and clothing that is sent to not only Africa but also the Gulf of Mexico, Central America, South America, Asia, the islands, etc. Most charities in this country are faith based, FYI. I also donate money to many charitable organizations every year, my entire family does.|||Yes.

Both parties have failed us period. They both lust after power and will step on anyone or anything they can to achieve it. Republicans and wait for it duck Democrats are both the problems. We have to start voting for those in office by what they stand for. Not through their words but by their actions and those they surround themselves with. I want you to talk a little time and answer your own question and propose why is it that our political parties would rather spend 500+ million dollars on the 2008 Presidential Primaries than using that same money and improving our inner city schools,sending more food and aid to Africa (which the U.S. gives billions already) I am really serious about this take the time and answer these and see if you don't realize that your frustration has been focused on only one part of the problem.|||Africa?


Republicans are the nations biggest, most generous, and charitable contributors to those in real need in the USA , which is their area of RESPONSIBILITY. America can not possibly solve all the problems of every one on the planet. Conservatives are intelligent enough to realize the reality of that fact.


They also know they can do a better job of addressing problems than the Government, and do it more efficiently.


Charity comes from the heart.


Taxing citizens to confiscate their assets to give to those who don't deserve it is extortion.
